Module 1 Lab: Build Your 'AI in My Life' One-Pager

Consolidate, create, and prep for the assessment

⬇ Study guide PDF

In this lesson you will

  • Synthesise Lessons 1-8 into a single shareable artifact
  • Practise AI-assisted drafting without surrendering authorship
  • Self-test readiness for the Module 1 assessment

The artifact: a one-page visual story

Produce one A4 page (digital or hand-drawn) titled 'AI in My Life': your 24-hour audit, the family tree with your examples, one hallucination you caught, and your community opportunity pick. One page, four quadrants.

Draft with AI, decide yourself

Use your chat assistant to tighten wording and suggest layout, but every claim and example must be yours. If the AI adds a fact you cannot verify, delete it. Authorship stays human; AI is the editor.

Assessment readiness check

Before the quiz, be able to: define AI and narrow AI; order the five milestones; explain features/labels and train-test; name the AI families and one use each; explain tokens, context, temperature; list the four verification steps and four safety defaults. If any feels shaky, rewatch that lesson's video first.

Key terms

Three: Self-test readiness for the Module 1 assessment. And your hands-on task: ship the one-pager. Build your 4-quadrant 'AI in My Life' page (Canva or paper). When it is done, mark the lesson complete on your dashboard, keep the artifact for your portfolio, and step into the next lesson. I will see you there.
